Fact Check: Did Elon Musk’s 4-year-old son X speak about Jesus on a live televised talk show?
WASHINGTON, DC: Many videos of tech billionaire Elon Musk's 4-year-old son X Æ A-Xii, commonly known as X, speaking about Jesus on a live televised talk show have been going viral on social media recently.
However, according to the fact-checking website Snopes, the videos are not true and are spreading a false narrative with the help of AI.

The claim about Elon Musk's son X making inspirational comments about Jesus Christ is being promoted by numerous similarly made AI videos that are found on social media platforms such as YouTube and Facebook.
The titles of the videos read, 'What Elon Musk's Son Just Said About JESUS Will Leave You Speechless" and "Elon Musk's Son X JUST Said THIS About Jesus on Live TV – This Will Reach Millions!"
As of May 7, 2025, some of the videos have gathered over 400,000 views.
X is one of the three children that the Tesla CEO shares with the singer Grimes.
Fact Check: Videos of Elon Musk's son X talking about Jesus appear to be AI-generated
Snopes reported that the claim made in the videos was false since many of the clips were accompanied by disclaimers that clearly stated that it was a work of fiction.
One of the disclaimers on YouTube read, "The stories presented on this channel are entirely fictional and crafted solely for entertainment. Any resemblance to real events, individuals, or situations is purely coincidental and unintentional. These narratives are not intended to depict, reference, or represent any actual occurrences, persons, or entities."
All the scenes used in the clips were generated by AI, as confirmed by AI image detectors WasItAI and Sightengine. The video also contained details that were not supported by real-world evidence, such as news networks like CNN and Fox News picking up the story. No such reports were found on either network's website.
A video also claimed that X, whose AI versions show different hairstyles and eye color in different clips, made the hashtag #XOnJesus trend across the globe with his alleged words. However, the hashtag is yet to be seen on X or Facebook.
